Labor Day Burger Recipe

This Wagyu Burger is made with Oostema Farmstead Wagyu beef and is flavorful and juicy with the perfect caramelized crust, and you will never want a regular hamburger again! 

If you have never tried our wagyu beef, you are in for the treat of your life. Wagyu beef burgers are the juiciest, most flavorful burgers you will ever try! Serve them with a quick and easy side of Air Fryer Frozen French Fries or Air Fryer Tater Tots!

 

Equipment

Grill, frying pan, skillet, cast iron skillet or griddle

Ingredients

  • lbs. Oostema Farmstead Wagyu beef burger 
  • Optional toppings: Lettuce ,Tomato, Onion, Ketchup, Mustard 

 

Instructions

  • It makes enough for 6 to 8 wagyu burger patties (depending on how large you want your burgers).
  • Heat skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place each wagyu burger into the skillet. Season with a sprinkle of salt.
  • Do not move or flip burgers until the bottom forms a caramelized brown crust.
  • Cook to the desired temperature on the first side (timing will depend on the size and thickness of your burger).
  • Flip each wagyu burger and cook to the desired temperature on the second side (timing will depend on the size and thickness of your burger).
  • Remove wagyu burgers from skillet or grill and serve with toppings of choice.

 

Note: FDA recommends cooking ground beef to an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees. Times will depend on the size and thickness of your burgers.

Internal Beef Temperatures (approximate):
  • Medium Rare: 130-135°F
  • Medium: 145°F
  • Medium Well: 150-155°F
  • Well Done: 160-165°F
