Welcome to “Recipe and Tips”! Cooking Wagyu beef can be easy and incredibly delicious. To fully appreciate the rich and robust flavors of this premium beef, we suggest keeping things simple.

Our top recommendation is to season your Wagyu with just a sprinkle of sea salt and freshly ground pepper. It’s important to never overcook your Wagyu, so we advise cooking it to no more than medium-rare.

No, but this is a very common question. Although all Kobe is Wagyu, not all Wagyu is Kobe. Wagyu is the breed of cattle, which hails from Japan, and is famed for its dense marbling and flavor. Kobe beef comes from Wagyu cattle that meet very strict guidelines and are born, raised, and processed in  Hyogo Prefecture of Japan, whose capital city is Kobe. Wagyu beef from the US could never be Kobe beef.

YES!! All our beef is 100% naturally raised and antibiotic
and hormone-free.

Yes!! All our beef is raised on Oostema Farmstead

Oostema Farmstead  only offers vacuum

Vacuum-sealed beef will stay fresh in your freezer for one year.

Keep it simple! There are a million opinions out there on the
internet on how to cook grass-fed beef. Cook it slow, cook it fast,
sear the outside fast, then slow cook, reverse sear after cooking it
real slow, and on and on.
