From our house to yours, “eet smakelijk” is Dutch for “enjoying your meal.”

Summer is meant for spending time with family and friends, not standing in the kitchen all day.
That’s why a slow-cooked roast is one of our favorite meals. Simply season your roast, place it in the slow cooker in the morning, and let it cook low and slow while you enjoy your day. By dinner, you’ll have tender, flavorful beef that’s ready to enjoy and plenty of leftovers for quick meals throughout the week.
These sliders are one of our favorite ways to use leftover slow-cooked roast. They’re buttery, cheesy, and come together in less than 30 minutes. Perfect for feeding a house full of guests, game day, or an easy summer dinner.
Cook one roast in the slow cooker at the beginning of the weekend. Enjoy a traditional roast dinner the first night, then use the leftovers for these sliders the next day. It’s one of the easiest ways to feed family and friends without spending your whole visit in the kitchen.
