  • 1 lb ground wagyu beef

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Buns for serving

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground wagyu beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

  2. Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pan and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard.

  4. Pour the sauce over the beef mixture in the pan and stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Pour the mixture into a large freezer-safe container and let it cool completely. Label the container with the date and the contents.

  6. When ready to enjoy, remove the container from the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

  7. Heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.

  8. Serve the wagyu beef mixture on buns and enjoy your delicious and convenient Sloppy Joes!
